Greenstone Digital Library Software

GDLS is an open source software developed by the New Zealand Digital Library Project at the University of Waikato. It aims to encourage libraries and other information centers to develope their own digital libraries using a software which they can further developed to suit their own needs.

With the high price of Library Softwares available in the market nowadays, GDLS would be very useful to small libraries located mostly in developing and underdeveloped countries.

GDLS runs on all versions of all versions of Windows, and Unix, and Mac OS-X.
