Lunch treat!
Moi and some office mates had a great feast this lunch time at the Palutuan Restaurants in Julia Vargas. It is Ortigas’ answer to the famous Dampa Restaurants in NIA Road, Las Pinas, where customers will contract any of the “palutuan” restaurants to cook the raw food that they will have to buy at a wet market at the back of the establishment. Customers will then pay the restaurant for the cooking charge plus drinks, should they order for other drinks except tap water. This kind of food joint gives customers value for their money and is a very economical way of eating out. (more…)
