Libraries Affected by Katrina
The American Libraries Online, an online news and updates magazine of the American Library Association, is running a list of libraries affected by hurricane Katrina. Check it out here. Also, the ALA website has some links to library-specific relief fund drive. Check it out here. Hah! The Lexington Public Library even created a database of possible housing places for library workers displaced by the hurricane. Interesting, how they give some particular importance to libraries and library personnel in this trying times.
